This year’s Tsukimi we held on Saturday and Sunday as part of a programm during the Japanese weekend in Průhonice botanical garden. We watched the moon rise, almost full, while enjoying usucha, Tsukimi manju, Tsukimi dango, tamaryokucha and sake from Miyabi.

On Sunday we served Tsukimi manju and usucha and celebrated the harvest and offered gratitude for all the crop and fruit that the nature provides us with. The rabbit as a symbol of selflesness and hospitality decorated our tokonoma and the manju .
